HUR Analog Equipment
Analog Technology & Innovation: The Smart Way to Train
HUR Analog equipment utilizes the same advanced exercising method found on all HUR strength equipment but uses a manual interface. Individuals can easily adjust resistance through a “plus” and “minus” button located on the display. HUR Analog Equipment is perfect for organizations looking for the benefits of pneumatic strength training equipment but without the need for added technology.

Benefits of HUR Analog Equipment
Natural Transmission™ with Air Resistance
HUR strength training equipment uses an alternative form of strength training called Natural Transmission, which simulates the natural function/movement of the muscles, making strength training safe and effective.
With HUR SmartTouch staff can create and manage their clients’ training programs, monitor individual progress and track outcomes across time and peer groups. Data is automatically captured for each user, recording exercise and performance data, such as repetitions, resistance, and progress. Reports can be generated on the progress of a group or single user, making it easy to isolate and compile data for a wide range of purposes.
- Lack of Inertia reduces stress on joints, limbs, and connective tissues
- Concentric and Eccentric muscle movements provide both positive and negative contractions with optimal loading throughout the range of motion
- Close to Zero Starting Load supports all strength levels and abilities
- ¼ lb Resistance Increments motivates beginners
- High-Speed Resistance and Power Training is safely enabled by air-resistance, which adapts in accordance with the production of force, regardless of the speed of movement
HUR Analog vs. HUR Hi5 Equipment
Key Solution Differences:
HUR Analog uses the same pneumatic air pressure resistance and dual-function, space saving design that is available on HUR strength equipment; however, the Analog equipment is powered completely by air pressure and does not use electricity or software. Users simply adjust resistance with a “+” or “-” button. HUR Analog is perfect for organizations looking for the benefits of pneumatic strength training equipment without the need for added technology. HUR Analog equipment has a lower price point than HUR Hi5 and no recurring annual software fees.
HUR Analog works well in physical therapy settings, where clinicians create exercises and track progress using their own systems. Analog also works well in small fitness spaces that have no structured or supervised wellness programming.
While the upfront cost of Analog is appealing, Hi5 drives better wellness engagement by increasing participation, ultimately creating a healthier population and reducing costs. A 2017 ICAA study showed people that participated in wellness programming, on average, stayed at their same level of care for 2.7 years longer. With one swipe of a key FOB, the machine automatically loads the user’s personalized training program and adjusts the seat and resistance settings. The program counts repetitions and records progress, making HUR Hi5 extremely user friendly and accessible to all ability levels.
HUR Hi5 with SmartTouch software allows staff to create and manage clients’ training programs, monitor progress, and track outcomes across time and peer groups. Data is automatically captured for each user, recording exercise/performance data, such as repetitions, resistance, power, and range of motion. Reports can be generated on the progress of a group or single user. For multi-location communities, cloud-based access allows corporate teams to manage wellness engagement and operational outcomes across locations. SmartTouch empowers users to safely engage in their own strength training program, thereby saving staff resources and improving the user experience.
